I Just Made a Parody Comic

For those who do pay attention to my secondary blog would've known I've posted something up there already. Nonetheless, I better say it here as well since most would read my main blog.

The reason why I posted it there was due to bandwidth related reasons. Specifically, my photo hosting bandwidth. To make the comic easier to read, I used higher quality JPEG which resulted in higher file sizes. The images were too man for me to host on Flickr as Flickr doesn't have the easy functions for external posting in bulk.

Okay, enough babbling, read the comic here.
It is essentially a parody of the first half of the first episode of Gundam 00. XD

SD Unicorn Complete!

Fufufu, just finished my SD Unicorn! And I'm pretty happy with the final result. ^^
This isn't a review post, not yet, but just a preview post. The review will be done a little later after all the paint has settled on the kit. =)


This one is a completely no sticker build but I think I should have used the white stickers as my white paint need a few more coats to actually look more solid. But, meh, I'll leave it as it is as I think the white on transparent red creates a rather nice effect itself.

Also, I had to use Gundam Marker Silver from the Songokuden set as a replacement of my already finished gray marker. I think it works just as well. ^^

This is the 'Devil' & It Stole My Soul

Not really a devil per say but this one really says 'buy me and you won't be disappointed'. With its blood red color and crazy pilot Fon Spark, this one is truly something to be 'feared' while possible to 'awe' at its awesomeness. Filled to the brim with loads of weapons, mainly guns though, the new Astraea Type F is definitely something to get (at least for me)! Can't wait to grab this later on when it arrives over here. Might as well try to stick the leftover 007S/G swords on it too for fun. >D

Just Feel Like Sayin'

Sorry for the lack of posts lately and sorry again for not posting anything informative for the time being. Well, I guess if you've paid attention to my blog posts for a while you would know that I've been preoccupied by university life. This post might be a little emotional though. ^^;

Anyways, yesterday was a rather sucky day. At first it wasn't until... I realized I accidentally left my pen drive over at the open lab in the morning. ORZ. Greatest mistake I've done in a while. It doesn't really contain much of anything gravely important but some of my work in progress (assignment data) is in there. I'm not overly obsessed about that since I can redo it quickly as long as my mood lightens up a bit more.

The reason why I left it was kinda lame but I was showing the stuff for one of the club's activities yesterday afternoon to the committee members but it was then time for class at 10.30am. I rushed and totally forgot about it. I only found out by the time I was home by around 8.30pm. It was also a rather busy day, which made it harder for me to remember everything, since I had club activities to do. Sad thing was that I'm always extremely careful with my pen drives. Checking whether I left them every time I leave the PC. However, yesterday... crap happened. =.= My own fault, yes, but I'm still unhappy about it. The pen drive even haunts me in my dreams! Why? Why must you forget about me?!

I'm currently trying to find it but I feel that any results, if any, will only be apparent by next week. And I have some mid-terms next week too... Hopefully I'll be able to concentrate. I really hate losing stuff. It bothers me to no end until I finally feel like I have no choice but to let go.

EDIT (18/04/10): Someone found it! Looks like I'll be able to get it back on Monday. ^^
Hopefully it is really mine but I think it should be. =)

HG 1/144 00 Gundam Seven Sword/G (007S/G) Review

I decided to fit this one into one single post this time instead of two separate posts like I usually do. This is because I do not have to review the articulation and gimmicks of the 00 Gundam (the base body) anymore as I have already done it in a previous review here.

GN-0000GNHW/7SG
Height: 18.3m
Weight: 65.1t
Armaments: GN Sword II Blaster, GN Buster Sword II, GN Sword II Long, GN Sword II Short, GN Katar (2). GN Beam Saber (2)

MS Brief:
After then end of Gundam 00 Season 2, Celestial Being suffers from monetary problems as well as the lost of one GN Drive. Because of that, the 00 Gundam has lost its Twin Drive capabilities and is solely running one one GN Drive and a condenser on the other side (the side with the GN Buster Sword II). Furthermore, it can only use Trans-AM for a very limited time of 0.03 seconds.

EDIT (6/9/2011): I just noticed I put the hilt of the GN Buster Sword II upside down which made it unable to close in the first place. My bad.

Note: The third preview shot requires the XN Raiser and another 007S/G to be do-able. ^^;

Ideas, Concepts & Sketches Spam! Take 2!

Continuing from the previous post here, I'll tell ya all some more on whatever stuff I have though up which are quite Gundam 00 related. FYI, I do think of other kinds of 'fan-fics' as well but I'm not gonna show them here as they are considerably less developed than this Gundam 00 based story I've cooked up since last year.

SAMS Exhibition Day 1 (Swinburne Club Recruitment Drive)

Swinburne Anime & Manga Society (SAMS)

This year I became a committee member of SAMS once again but got 'promoted' to a different department. Basically I bring some of the equipment used by the club but since I don't really drive myself, this job was lightened and shared with another person.

This club recruitment drive was kinda sudden as we were told about it by end of last week and I can say that our preparations were pretty weak but we were luckily assisted by some of the more senior members of SAMS from before (though it was more like they had to). ^^;
I did what I can but maybe I should've checked with the other committee members some more before today. Ah well, what's done is done. Lesson learned.

Note: Sorry for the weak quality of photos. I had to set to sport and turn off the flash for more natural shots (for most) so that I don't really disrupt what the other people are currently doing (ninja snapping in other words) while managing to take less blur shots since people do move about quite a lot. XD

HG 00 Gundam Twelve Swords Two Guns (0012S/2G) Preview

Mwahahahahahaha! Finally! I can do it too! I feel so happy today. :D

Nothing much to say except I tried to detail the HG 007S/G as much as I can with my Gundam Markers and did not paint the XN Unit due to paint limitations. I'll try to do that later once I get my hands on proper equipment or when I'm ready since I don't want to screw up the not so easy nor cheap XN Unit.

That's a whooping total of 14 swords! It may not be practical but I really wanted to try equipping it on though I can say the swords can rub against each other quite a lot now. ^^;

That's all for now. The 007S/G (normally equipped) has some outside work tomorrow as I'm gonna put it up for display during the SAMS Club Exhibition Day. A certain unfortunate HG will accompany it as the always used on this blog as a victim of a buster sword attack this time. X3

Hopefully I'll be able to do the review by the end of this weekend. There are some things I definitely must say on this model kit.

Food For Thought

Had lunch at the Spring Food Bazaar today and ate this hotplate chicken rice. Plenty spicy and very hot. Nice and delicious but really takes time to eat. Thank goodness for the long break I have today. ^^;

I've Finally Kicked the Elite 4's Arse!

Pokemon Heart Gold~

The two dragon trainers near the end (Clair and Lance) were harder than I've remembered from when I fought them in the past. Not too bad though as I managed to win in the end. Should've just fought them with Raikou from the start of the battle than using the old and no more as effective use your starter to the end strategy. ^^;

At any rate, I just started the Kanto region but made barely any progress beyond the SS Aqua. Kinda playing Pokemon Diamond now. O.o

Neko~ In Da Open Cafeteria

When I was eating my lunch in the open cafeteria today, a hasty lunch since I wanted to read up a bit more before my small quiz later that afternoon, a cat passed by my feet. So cute! However, it was quite skinny. Still, cute. ^^
