Kota Kinabalu Haul

There were a few shops that took my notice while I was at Kota Kinabalu (KK) last week and bought a number of stuff, even some that are slightly overpriced but not easily found over here.

EDIT: Forgot to state here but have said it before on FB... Thanks to Evaritus Lau (AKA sbhboi) for telling me about Hobby Kingdom, Hobby Densetsu (sadly closed during Christmas) and Revo Toys (became member only since there was not much there yet) at Star City. ^^ Too bad we weren't able to meet up. I was able to go to the Kirameki Maid Cafe at Star City as well. Hm, should put up the photos for that.

Bought these from KK Toys at a "pretty" price. I won't recommend anyone to buy there normally but they do have some rather nice items in stock. The DS screen protector, for some odd reason, is always overpriced wherever I go. This one was a little cheaper than at home here but then again, it could be much cheaper... I miss Singapore (there was a slightly off game shop selling it cheaper but I found it only later). ^^;

GG Capricorne & GG DBull (Dark Bull) Beyblade Review

I wanted to do this last weekend but my internet connection failed badly. Right now, I'm at school posting this up. Don't fret, I'm pretty free for the time being. ^^

Price:
RM9.90 for GG Capricorne
RM12.90 for GG DBull

Capricorne is cheaper since it doesn't come with a launcher grip. Don't fret, the newer launchers from the Metal Fight/Fusion Beyblade series is considerably large so it isn't hard to hold at all unlike the original series which were quite small.
As a comparison, an original Beyblade with a similar set to Capricorne here costs RM39.90 in a normal toy shop. I seriously wished originals are cheaper to obtain since that price is simply killer. =_=

I don't really know that much about the Beyblades stats itself but from this site, I learned a bit. You can read more information about the DBull here. You can also read the comments in the previous Beyblade review by Chris for more information.

Dying Links

Hm, I notice some of the GIF images in the template I'm using right now is dying out and 404-ing. Thus, I think it is time again for me to update my template though I won't have time for anything extensive for a good while yet. Because of that, I'm just doing some half-arsed edits so that you won't suddenly see white and blue around the blog (Tinypic's 404 image).
ETA for any good template editing/creating would be around December after my finals. ^^;
(If you guys saw any good - easy to edit and fitting with my color scheme - templates can suggest me one.)

Oh yeah, thanks to Chris follow up comments on my recent Beyblade reviews, I bought two more yesterday. Chris, I think you can easily guess which I bought. XD Will post up the review this weekend after my midterms today and tomorrow are over with.

GG LL-Drago (Lightning L-Drago) & GG RLeone (Rock Leone) Beyblade Review

RM14.90* EACH.
*Normal shop price, you might be able to find it cheaper though.
Unprecedented! A BEYBLADE review, here?! I wonder how many of you expected me to one day review such a thing? XD

~deaita~
On a fine Sunday afternoon, we went to Wisma Hopoh in search of Xbox 360 games as my plan to burn the ISOs myself didn't went smoothly (plus DL discs are almost priced the same as the pirated game discs anyways). We managed to get some, well a lot of games. I can't tell you how many genre of games was in the plastic bag that day and how empty my wallet was after that. (My sister picked most of the games and no, they are not something lame.)

After all that wallet burning, we went to the only viable restaurant there, KFC. Before I reached KFC, I spotted many TT Hongli Gunpla (all priced as usual and barely any good choices) and then... bootleg Metal Fight Beyblade Beyblades! I was like, totally surprised! Er, not that surprised actually. The price wasn't that good but considering how much I wanted them as well as some support from my sister, we bought em'. *wallet burns*

I did ever see some originals at a normal toy shop before but they were too pricey to buy normally. I mean, RM59.90 isn't cheap for something so small though it was a full set. Then again, this bootleg version isn't all that cheap anyways.
~deaita end~

Okay, enough boring story. Time for the review!

Those who do not know the existence of the latest Beyblade anime Metal Fight Beyblade may want to read up Wikipedia for a bit or, if your internet permits, watch on Youtube.

EDIT1: L-Drago is actually LL-Drago (Lightning L-Drago, L for Left). Sorry about that. ^^;
EDIT2: This Leone is actually the Rock Leone and not the normal Leone. Sorry about that. I'll just refer to it as Leone though.
