There ends my short break in June. Had fun, got decent results for my last semester, met lots of new faces, built some Gunpla, played some games and finally decided it is time to get a smartphone.
I'm having a very tight schedule over at Swinburne for the next month and a half. 6 weeks of study for 2 subjects and the finals immediately after. O.o How will it be, I'm sure it won't be a fun roller-coaster ride.The Gundoom review should be published by night of today (4th July). I already typed most of it but I need a bit more time to finish the last section. Right now, it is time to sleep for the long Monday ahead. Monday unfortunately has the longest day of class. From morning until night. D:
Also, a happy Independence Day to those who live in the USA!
Until the big post later on. Time to sleep! >.<

Mid-Term Exam Week
Even though I got "hoards" of games I'd like to play, I'm going to have a mid-term exam next week. 3 papers only though since 1 subject had its midterm earliest last week.
FYI, the Foundation students are coming in next week. So, I'm wondering, if there are any readers by chance, who are going to Swinburne as a new student starting from next week? O.o
Okay, better get myself and the book acquainted properly before I make my life harder when the papers are before me. :P
Wish me luck! And good luck to those who are having exams right now or waiting for results too!

CPA(ASC) Undergraduate Conference 2010
Today was a rather long day and was rather fun. There was a moment when my heart beat rapidly but that was because of the presentation we needed to do.
Want to know more? Read on!
Note: This post will be rather short as I want to keep it at a minimum since I feel that I shouldn't spam a photo for every single thing. I'll just talk about the important stuff. =)

SAMS Exhibition Day 1 (Swinburne Club Recruitment Drive)
This year I became a committee member of SAMS once again but got 'promoted' to a different department. Basically I bring some of the equipment used by the club but since I don't really drive myself, this job was lightened and shared with another person.
This club recruitment drive was kinda sudden as we were told about it by end of last week and I can say that our preparations were pretty weak but we were luckily assisted by some of the more senior members of SAMS from before (though it was more like they had to). ^^;
I did what I can but maybe I should've checked with the other committee members some more before today. Ah well, what's done is done. Lesson learned.
Read on for photos and further details.
Note: Sorry for the weak quality of photos. I had to set to sport and turn off the flash for more natural shots (for most) so that I don't really disrupt what the other people are currently doing (ninja snapping in other words) while managing to take less blur shots since people do move about quite a lot. XD

April Fools & Random Life Stuff Take 2!
April Fools! But, seriously, didn't do anything worthwhile for this day. ^^;
Currently I'm in a friend's house for a chaotic club meeting full of pure raging laughter. :D
At any rate, here's a short blog post about some interesting things of note.
Warning: Low quality images due to only having my phone to take photos since I don't bring my camera around all the time.
At any rate, I just started the Kanto region but made barely any progress beyond the SS Aqua. Kinda playing Pokemon Diamond now. O.o
PS:
I just love this song!

Random Life Stuff & So On
Phew, looks like my blog was rather dead thanks to me going to school once again. Well, that can't be helped, it isn't like I have all the time in the world to update (or actually make content) for this blog for the time being.
This post isn't much but some blurps on some interesting and uh-oh moments of my life. A life post if you may but not one that is too terribly detailed.
Read on for... real life stuff. XD
Random Add-On!: http://www.flickr.com/photos/47286589@N05/sets/72157623707852024/
A small gallery on my SD Gundam Exia! I just painted some parts with some Gundam Markers. It ain't that good actually but I'm pretty much happy with the final result. Did this last year actually and took it out just now for a short random photoshoot. ^^

Back to School
Semester breaks don't last forever and mine sure didn't. Sad that it had to end so soon but I pretty much enjoyed my 2 month break. Did nothing major but it was all good. ^^
Met some new people online, especially some fellow bloggers through the chatroom, and got closer to those who ever commented on my blog or those whose blogs I've commented on. Social interactions are important since I barely went out during the break (don't really drive myself and don't really have a car that's guarantee not to die on me). >.>;
Anyways, yesterday was the first day and nothing much went on, not yet anyways. There aren't any tutorials for the first week, just introductory lectures, so I still have ample of free time his week before the storm brews in with many deadlines and exams to do. Hopefully I'll survive degree successfully as it sure won't be as "easy" as Foundation.
Also, I went to Momotoys again - local hobby shop. I was a bit disappointed that nothing much came in for a while but luckily many packages came right before I had to leave for my next class. I helped out a bit since I was there and all and saw many many great stuff. Some of you may just go into rage mode touching them. S.I.C Kabuto, Figma Reimu, Nendo Drossel, MG GN-X, HGUC ReZEL, RD Bonta-kun, RD Unicorn Destroy Mode and many more.Even though the huge un-boxing was done there, I wasn't allowed to buy any of the new stocks yet since I think the boss of the shop needs to check first. Ah well, at least I know what I want currently and can plan my current budget. Unluckily, the very hoped for HG 007S/G wasn't together with the rest. They got a lot of HGUC Unicorns restocked though.
To make it more crazy, there were practically more than 10 Nendo Drossels that came in. Some Tamashii Nation limited stuff as well, though I guess they are already booked by another regular. ^^;Closing the day, I was brought to a kopitiam by my father and drank a different colored Teh C Peng Special. Special indeed. XD
Well, that's all for now. Since the 007S/G hasn't arrived yet, I guess my budget says "yes" to the ReZEL first and maybe a RD if all goes well... I really like most of the Zeta based suits, even if its "nicknamed" Mr. Hardon. Tomorrow~ =D
BTW, since I'm back to school, I won't be updating my blog as frequently as during the break. Expect around 1-2 posts per week or nothing at all if the assignments pile up amongst subjects by May.

To My University Buddies
If you're wondering about my results, I managed to pass them all with flying colors. ^^
The marks aren't that great especially for the MPW subjects (which wasn't counted in the CGPA luckily) but I managed to get one HD and three Distinctions for the previous semester (a Credit and Distinction for MPW). My Law was so close to 80 though... so darn... close... orz.
Looks like I cleared Foundation successfully and will be able to go to Degree this year! Yay! I'll be majoring in Accounting, so wish me luck in that (it will only get harder in Degree from what I've heard). For now, to enjoy my break some more. Got a lot of stuff to do. XP
For those who were not able to pass certain subjects, don't be sad! Try hard for your resit! I wish you all luck!
I also hope to see most of my group mates from last year moving to Degree as well. I don't like to see mostly unknown faces suddenly later in March. @_@

Finals(Semester 2 2009) End! Yay?
Finally after letting this blog go on a hiatus run due to finishing TWO assignments and the FOUR final papers that just finished today. For the (group) assignments, my groups manage to get very good marks. I was so happy that we could get those marks, that I was almost going to jump in joy. Go team~ ^^
As for the final exam, hopefully I'll get my targeted marks since it wasn't all as difficult as I initially expected (except for maybe the last paper however). I guess my perseverance in forcing myself to read the textbooks and notes really did help make the exam less stressing (though I'm mentally exhausted).
At any rate, now I have some free time once again to do whatever I want as the Foundation course is done for now. Sadly I still have the Summer Semester to do starting next month, ending in the 2nd week of January. According to one of our lecturers, we might be running against the clock most of the time during the compulsory semester due to its shortness and amount of work needed to be done. For now, I have some time to kill for non-education stuff.
With that said, I wanted to build the Blue Frame but decided not to as I felt my hands to be a little rusty and well I have another kit begging to put together. Remember my trip to KL last July? Well, I finally decided to build the HGUC Hi-Nu Gundam. I made a few mishaps while building it though but I'm still happy with the results thus far. Its not completed yet as I slowly put it together and doing additional add-ons (panel-lining and some paint).
Here's an early preview;
As you can see, the back-section is not done yet. I was building this the whole night and just stopped pass midnight. The mishaps I did (darn silver marker leaking onto my palm and me doing something totally unreasonable resulting in a part breaking off) made it a little annoying and longer to finish. Err, yeah. I'm contemplating to either paint the beam rifle and bazooka silver or leave it be until I get me some proper painting equipment. =/
Also, did anyone tried the Microsoft Office 2010 Beta yet? I just downloaded it but haven't had the opportunity to install it yet. Going to try it out real soon, like... tomorrow? =D
Okay, that's all for now. >.>
PS: Hey guys, got any good MMORPGs that is "free 2 play" which you consider fun to play currently? I feel like playing at least one for a while (I normally play online games but never break level 30) to make my life well, more varied. XP
Note: I might also update my alternate blog once in a while with some miscellaneous stuff, but mostly smaller posts. Keep an eye out as you may find some funny and interesting stuff posted up by me. ^^

Finals Next Week... Something Troublesome I Just Noticed...
Okay, so finals are next week and I barely have the time to linger around(though watching a series while studying at the same time) too much. Then while checking out the "Blackboard", I noticed something which felt like we're told very late... or maybe I've never notice an earlier notice about it. Nonetheless, its quite troublesome but hopefully I can resolve this problem quickly on Monday(as the place to do so should operate during regular working hours only). Sigh, there goes the calm with the storm coming in sooner than expected, though not study-related.
Ah wait, it was a fairly common problem and was resolved rather quickly and easily. Now to continue studying... @_@

A Different Way to Cut Your Birthday Cake
Last Thursday, a classmate of mine celebrated her birthday. Two good friends of hers bought her a really nice and seemingly delicious American Chocolate cake!
They brought it into class right before our short afternoon break that day. Even with the tension filled air due to nearing mid-term exams(next week liao), a friend's birthday mustn't be forgotten!
By lunch time, I managed to meet up with them, with me grabbing a quick lunch of a single currypuff, to see a a rather amusing birthday "party". Around 7 of us gathered around a table to witness the birthday girl blow the candles and "cut" the cake...
The cake is opened and the whole open-air cafeteria can see it! Then again, I noticed most people around us didn't really care.
The fans in the open-air cafeteria are really strong! They needed to block the wind with the box... though it wasn't such a smart idea in the end. =P
After blowing... we asked her to go on to cut the cake. She then asked, "Can I STAB the cake?". Oh my, that was new and I was all for it! Randomness FTW!
So, that's all I saw as I didn't stay to leech some delicious cake since I felt like I shouldn't. Nonetheless, it was something interesting to observe and record. For the record, the flower is also icing! I did taste the icing, just a little bit, and the cake was pretty nice.
Okay, that's all for now. There might be something else tomorrow, hopefully, but back to the books I go! Have to make sure to remember some stuff before the first exam on Wednesday. ^^;

This Month Thus Far - Sept' 2009
Phew! Been quite busy for the past week and will still be busy, especially after Hari Raya next week! Mid-terms are coming soon and I'll have to spend some quality time with my books. XP
For the time being, I am a bit more free and planning to have some nice fun over the weekend, the 4 day weekend. I'll most probably not go out as my parents are planning to go balik kampung this weekend and I'm not coming.
At any rate, this month has been a money saving savvy month. Then again, the HG Reborns Gundam and HGUC Gundam 7th Unit hasn't arrive here yet. I "only" got 2 Gundam related items this whole entire month, which is a good thing, money and space-wise. XDI bought the BB 0 Gundam earlier this month. GN Feathers FTW! I also managed to get the Hobby Japan October issue as well from Momotoys. If any of you that live in Kuching who want to get it as well, quickly get your butts to Momotoys and get them before I decide to spend extra cash on a 2nd one! >D
I haven't put mine together yet as I didn't have the free time but I'm pondering whether to get a 2nd one so that I can try to paint the parts with just Gundam Markers... decisions, decisions once again... =P
Furthermore, I managed to go to the CPA Undergraduates Conference 2009 last Saturday(12/09/09). I'm not going to say much about this as I could not remember it well enough to make an individual post. It was a really great event.
Even though we had to pay RM10 to join in, it was well worth it! We got a bag of goodies which includes a black CPA T-Shirt(you can pick your size during registration), magazines and booklets, pen and a water bottle when are an early bird! I had to wake up pretty early to just be able to get the water bottle. XP
The speakers were awesome and very admirable. We had a nice lunch in the afternoon also, with me gulping down three standard sized cups full of orange juice. XD
Nothing much else to say. I'll probably play around this weekend instead of doing some needed revisions on my subjects but we'll see. =|
Maybe I should build the HG 0 Gundam(Type ACD) this weekend... >_>

Time Up
My semester break just ended last week and yesterday was the first day back to Swinburne. With that said, it is undeniable that I won't have as much time to spend online or with this blog for quite some time. Updates will still come in due time but around two-three per week.
I am also quite happy that most of my previous semester classmates are basically the same, with some minor differences. Shall we have more "fun" this semester together once again? ^_^;
For Gunpla, I am sad to say that I haven't built the Hg 0 Gundam yet due to SD Gundam G Generation Wars taking my full attention currently. Seriously, this game sure wants to eat a lot of your free time. Nonetheless, it is quite fun. XP
Oh yes, if anyone wants to request content, please leave a comment what you to see me post up on this blog of mine. Of course, please don't request things that are absurd or just plain wrong/weird. If I can do it, I'll try to do it as soon as possible as long as time and what else I need is available. =)
I also noticed that 2 people voted that "much improvements needed" on the poll. If you can, please post a comment for what kind of improvements I can do. Unfortunately, I might not implement it instantly as I haven't even did the extra work needed to make the layout in mind yet. =/
That's all for now.

Where Did Everyone Else End Up To?
This post is dedicated to my Swinburne classmates.
So, where did you all end up to? You don't know yet? Well, you should check your student webmail frequently as advised by the Swinburne staff though I just decided to peep at mine today once again. Lo and behold I found an email dated 10 days back about the re-enrollment stuff.
I censored all the names on the picture above BTW for privacy's sake. This is the WWW after all, cannot just let the world know who you are so easily. =P
At any rate, looks like university life will kick back to full throttle right after next week on the 10th of August thus will lead me to less time to laze around doing nothing meaningful with my life. Ah well, time to enjoy my last week of holiday. =)

Malaysian Hot Springs?
Preview;
Last weekend on a fine Saturday morning, my classmates of Group 4 of English & Communications Skills Part 1 went to a hot spring. I'm not very clear on the exact location but it was pretty far off, requiring an hour drive from the Kuching airport to reach the location. To my knowledge, it is somewhere far away from Serian about 27th Mile. The place was rather secluded and lots of fine greenery can be seen. Natural surroundings were nice to see and feel. ^^
Notes: Within this blog post, I'll give out the first names of some of the people in our group. This is so that it is much easier for me to highlight some events of interest and the important stuff. =)
This post will be rather long, especially with the tonnes of pictures I will be showing, so those with a slow connection, beware!

1000 Hits!
After "reviving" this blog for about 3 months, it looks like the counter has finally hit the 1000 visitors mark! Yay~
Actually I have been back since Tuesday night, but have nothing good to blog about. My visit to Miri was basically empty with being sick and all. All I did was go to the local mall which is not like any malls in the Peninsular region, an unfinished KL-like mall and my uncle's house besides just my aunt's house. Being sick took away my opportunities to do much that requires some extra physical energy and probably mental plus it was hot as **** in Miri. There was no rain at all during the duration of my stay. =/
I did manage to find a nice shop selling some bootleg Gunpla though. Seeing them cheap and some hard to find models, I bought some, even if they are not original. To be frank, they are not really "pirated" per say, but according to what I have read, it seems they bought a license to be able to produce some models from Bandai. Minus the fact they cannot produce them greater than 90% the same. The models, especially from TT Hongli are top notch for their price and origin location. The prices are really not so bad, some may fall way below 50% of the original.
Building such models may take extra patience though as some fittings are a bit more tighter and stickers not being cut properly, but if you are up to it, the final product can still amaze you. ^^
I will be putting up some reviews about them soon-ish, with a recommendation to get them only if you cannot get the original or maybe you want to do a cheap/trial kit-bash/modding/paint job. Great for when you want to try some new modeling skills, persumably. =D
Tomorrow, my class/group will go to the hot spring near 10th Mile for a class outing for our class magazine we have to do for one of our subjects. How will it be? Fun? Exciting? Enjoyable? Article-able? Amazing? Spectacular? Georgelicious? I will see tomorrow, though I think I may end up just benching myself since I am not good with water and heat. >_>
I guess that's all the ramblings I will give for now. Real life is sure busy lately. XP

Swin Night 2009
Last night, at 6.30PM in Block G Auditorium of the Swinburne University, a party named Swin Night 2009 was held. Over 190 students came and the place was crowded. It was interesting, kinda fun, ear booming, lots of "lol" and everybody wore black & white clothes.
To be more specific, the event is "Swin Night 2009" and the theme for clothing was black & white, semi-formal. It costs RM15 to join and I felt like the money is quite worth it... maybe. >_>This is the list of events that anybody can have a look at from under the table number card placed on their respective table. I took this picture a bit later, during a performance as I had the ability to do so at that point of time. XP
Now, onto the party summary and pictures!
