Bottom of the Rollercoaster

You know that moment when you ride a rollercoaster and then it dips down, causing you to feel quezee? Yeah, suddenly got sick recently, last Friday to be exact. Must be the haze. Starting to feel better now but not well enough to go out for long periods.

At any rate...

I wonder if I took enough photos the other day.

Oh yeah, you know that feeling when you're doing the same report as the previous semester seniors but you have to do more work for it this semester? The disparity is very obvious this time around. And we get only 1 week to do it. Gee, thanks. *le rant*

Until the next post.

HG Gundam AGE-1 Spallow Review

Price: 1200 Yen

This was a rather unexpected purchase for me since this kit was unattractive to me due to the lack of gimmicks/parts especially when compared to the other Gundam AGE HG model kits of the same price. I can argue that Sunrise did well presenting the Gundam in the anime though, since I was totally impressed how a single blade (plus some small needle-like hidden shots) can do so much damage while taking in huge numbers. As cheesy and flat it may feel to some, the "raep" Spallow did on-screen was something that caught my interest. Furthermore it was a bit more expensive than normal locally but recent changes in tax laws caused that so I couldn't complain much.

Specifications
Pilot: Flit Asuno
Height: 18.7m
Weight: 33.4t
Armaments: Shiguru Blade (1), Knee Needle Gun (2)
Doesn't have many weapons on board and it is pretty much limited to short-mid range combat. It focuses on speed and agility to "raep" its opponents. I wonder how Flit handled those Gs.

Story
Spallow is the last on-screen Wear for the Gundam AGE-1 piloted by the young Flit Asuno in the first season of Gundam AGE. Because the Titus was slow and long range weaponry (DODS Rifle) was not as effective as before, the AGE System crafted this Wear. Adding on to Flit's growing X-Rounder abilities, he takes upon himself the duty of being a Savior but unfortunately...

June 2012 Get!

Pre-orders get! Been waiting for them a while, Unfortunately I didn't get anything I want in the Cardfight Vanguard booster boxes I bought though...

At any rate, gonna see how the D-Arts Zero Type 2 is soon enough. Quite oily as far as I've touched it.

Until the next post.

It Is Now June

Time is sure passing by fast and blogs are getting more and more neglected as time goes by. At any rate, Kyan!me 2012 is coming up, 8-10 June at The Hills Shopping Mall, Kuching. I can't say it is something fantastic but if possible, try to show your support by coming. I'll be around somewhere there if anyone wants to look for me. =P

Photo above shows what should have been up in this blog, along with other posts, that I wish to do but lack the mood to have the time to spend half an afternoon/evening on a blog post lately. I lost the right side of the Zeydra's antenna somehow just now and basically put me off from a supposed photoshoot session. >.< I do hope to be able to find the missing piece...

Oh why must I accidentally lose it? ;_;

On a happier note, Selamat Ari Gawai!

EDIT:
On another happier note, I scratch built a new simple one. :'D

Blaster Line for Gold Paladin (Random Idea)

I'm quite fond of "Blaster Blade" from Royal Paladin and "Blaster Dark" from Shadow Paladin as far as I'm playing Cardfight!! Vanguard leading me to have both Royal and Shadow Paladin decks. Their main skill is to retire one of your opponent's rear guards upon Ride/Call makes it quite strategic to use.

Recently Bushiroad has released two new clans - Gold Paladin and Narukami. Gold Paladin is more to power and cance superior calls (from the top of your deck) while Narukami is similar to Kagero (though not as dangerous, yet) and power focused as well. Narukami seems to be doing better than Gold Paladin so far. Thus, random shenanigans come to mind because I want some unut retiring fun with Gold Paladins as well - though a pipe dream it may be. Doesn't stop me from sketching out my thoughts anyway.

"Rise of the Golden Blasters"

Enter Blaster Gold. It all started from there. XP

Zeydra Gets a Friend

Will soon build this one because I reallly feel like it. Blog sure feels empty without my usual review posts though. Even the Zeydra haven't gotten a one. :/

*squeezes time for it this weekend*
All cards and papers with lack of plastic in life... make a dull life. ^^;

I also wonder if I can attach Qan[T]'s binders on his one. Double Qan[T]. Oh yes! XD

To be continued...

Limit Break!

Since I had the chance, I decided to get myself the new clan TDs. Being able to attack upwards to 26000 with the main Vanguard out of the box does seem promissing indeed. However, it doesn't mean it can compete well with the older, more diverse clans, so far. Getting burned by The End is one thing I'd like to mention.

The TDs focus on raw power and only the main cards got any abilities out of that (asides from the Aermo clones). Garmore (Gold Paladin) pictured above superior calls any Gold Paladin grade 2 or lower upon ride at the cost of 2 counterblasts. Thunder Break Dragon (Narukami) retires any of your opponents grade 2 or lower Rear Guards upon ride at the same cost. I personally feel that Garmore's skill should be "activate" or at least gives us the chance of calling a grade 3 considering it is a one time thing. Thunder Break Dragon's skill would be nice if it can be used in the Rear Guard as well. It would make having more than one slightly more meaningful.

Well, not to be so nitpicky, the new TDs are good for introducing new players to the game. The skills are easy to understand and remember. Adaptability for em' seems better according to the games I played with less experienced players when I lent them the decks.

That's all for now. I better get back to finishing my assignments at hand right now. D=
