While I am currently away at Miri, it seems like some spirits used my computer and air-conditioner in my room way back at home, seemingly.
The person who was entrusted to take care of our house noticed some coldness coming from my room and decided to check it out. To his and our surprise, my computer and air-conditioner was on. O.o He called at about 5pm to ask us about this peculiarity.
The weirdest part was that I am very sure I turned off everything, even the main switches for the electronics in my room! Unfortunately for me, looks like "someone" or to be more precise, "something" wanted to have their way with my stuff while I am away. Currently, the stuff is probably still on as the person entrusted decided NOT to off the computer and air-conditioner as he thought it was supposed to be left like that... All in all, it could just be me being terribly forgetful...
At any rate, it seems like I am sick and have a high fever, though I don't feel that bad. But, whatever. XP
Today, especially tonight, I went to Bintang Plaza(IIRC), but too bad I wasn't feeling too well to do much of anything. The place was rather big and looks like a slightly smaller version of KLCC. Interesting. However, it is still partially still in construction so the place wasn't so fun to walk in, especially to and from the carpark. DX
Well, that's all for today.

Currently in Miri
As of tonight I'll be in Miri until next week's Tuesdays afternoon. Thus I have no way to have my time with my Gunpla(as they are at home), I might do a small write-up about Miri.
My family and I reached here using a MAS flight at about 8.10pm and my uncle and aunt picked us up then brought us to there house, which I am currently in. =3 Luckily for me, I am allowed to use their Streamyx line, so I'll be able to connect to the Internet from time to time during this period. Splendid.
From my observations on the way to my cousins' house, I saw that Miri has grown quite a bit. It looks more like Kuching now and looks rather neat at some places. But it was night, so I'll leave my better judgment for later on. >.>
Best part is that my cousins' have improved their lives quite a decent lot. They have a better van now - Toyota Innova, two more air-conditioners and of course, Streamyx. X3
Well, that's it for now. =D
PS: I added two new links to my "Frequently Visited" list on the side. They are at the top of the list, so you will definitely not miss it. XD
EDIT: It seems that I forgot to hit save for the links, very sorry~ D= But now they are there!

HG 1/144 Trans-AM Raiser
Pilot: Setsuna F. Seiei(00 Gundam) & Saji Crossroad(0 Raiser)
Machine Code: GN-0000 00 Gundam + GNR-010 0 Raiser
Mobile Suit Name: 00 Raiser -> Trans-AM Raiser(due to Trans-AM Mode)
Height: 18.3m
Weight: 54.9t(according to the manual)
Armaments:
GN Sword III
GN Sword II(2)
GN Beam Saber(2)
GN Shield
Special "Attack" & "Ability": Raiser Sword, Quantitation, Turns People Into Innovators(please watch Gundam 00 Season 2) XP
Story Summary:
Near the end of Gundam 00 Season 2, Celestial Being has given an upgrade for the 00 Raiser, the GN Sword III, which is stronger, more effective and can utilize the Trans-AM mode better(presumed). With the Trans-AM Raiser, the 00 Raiser goes even further beyond the limits of an ordinary mobile suit. With its high emision and concentration of GN Particles, it can even create miracles...
Today was a nice day. Mid-term is over and 2 assignments which only need to be past up around 2 weeks later. Thus, I had the whole afternoon and night to relax, for now. But, before I went back, I went to the shop, now in the basement floor of the Spring, and bought the HG 1/144 Trans-AM Raiser. It has been nearly a month since it came out over east side, which happened to be on the same day as my birthday that time. XD
Unfortunately, I felt my body to be in a bit of tired pain today as I guess the lack of sleep caused by last week took its toll on my body. It is not that bad but I guess I'll just need more rest. I wanted to build this model kit this afternoon, but for the good of myself, I took a nap. It was evening when I woke up and not too long after that, I opened the box...
You can refer to the earlier reviews I did on the normal HG 00 Raiser here and here.
Note: A LOT of pictures were taken. Be prepared for quite a bit of scrolling. =P

Swin Night 2009
Last night, at 6.30PM in Block G Auditorium of the Swinburne University, a party named Swin Night 2009 was held. Over 190 students came and the place was crowded. It was interesting, kinda fun, ear booming, lots of "lol" and everybody wore black & white clothes.
To be more specific, the event is "Swin Night 2009" and the theme for clothing was black & white, semi-formal. It costs RM15 to join and I felt like the money is quite worth it... maybe. >_>
This is the list of events that anybody can have a look at from under the table number card placed on their respective table. I took this picture a bit later, during a performance as I had the ability to do so at that point of time. XP
Now, onto the party summary and pictures!

MG Gundam Exia in July!? O.O
Surprisingly, in the Shizuoka Hobby Show 2009, Bandai annouced(with a displayed MG Exia) slated for a release in July with two versions. One is the normal version, 3990 Yen w/ tax(3800 Yen w/o tax) and the Ignition Mode version for 6875 Yen(w/ tax) but for 5250 Yen(w/ tax) for the first batch price(5000 Yen w/o tax)!
The Ignition Mode seems to come with plated blades, conversion parts to Exia Repair(see first episode 00 Season 2) and LED lights. I'm so going to get this first batch as I think I will regret if I just get the normal version as the "special version" is "discounted" for now. I was thinking of trying to get the NG 1/100 00 Raiser next month, but I guess I'll have to forgone it for this much better model kit. ^^
Original source here but I read the news from Ngee Khiong's blog. ^^;
When you go to that link, you'll also notice there will be many more models coming soon, a lot of them being rather nice and are on my to get list, like the HG Hi-Nu Gundam, HG Reborns Gundam/Cannon, HG Cherudim/Arios/Seravee Gundam GN Heavy Weapon, HG Gundam Exia R2, HG 0 Gundam and HG Susanowo. O.o That's a lot of things I want to buy, but mostly HGs unlike the MG Exia. Hopefully I'll be able to satisfy this want, as that is a lot of models...

MG 1/100 Sword Impulse Gundam - Part 2
Luckily for me, I have some "free" time to do this. It took me about 2 hours or less to do the photoshoot, including readying the stage. The stage didn't look so great and was mostly half-assed as I didn't have the right components(thicker paper) to make it look better. Ah well, I guess it works well.
This review is a continuation of the previous post, here.
Now, onto the continuation. =)

MG 1/100 Sword Impulse Gundam Review - Part 1
Series: Gundam SEED Destiny
ZGMF-X56S/β
Sword Impulse Gundam
The main protagonist's(Shinn Asuka) suit, the Impulse Gundam when combined with the Sword Silhouette, becomes the Sword Impulse Gundam, a melee mobile suit with dual anti-ship beam swords and two beam boomerangs. Pure ownage right here. ^^
Still remember the Force Impulse? Note the difference in colors between them. That's the main striking difference between them, besides the Silhouette packs. >>; Though, the Sword Impulse colors looks way more menacing and "cool"/"awesome"/"teh smecks".
Brief Story Plot:
The Sword Impulse appears in the very first episode of Gundam SEED Detiny, piloted by Shinn Asuka. Weilding two gigantic anti-ship beam swords, he was up against three stolen Gundams and fared rather well until... see SEED Destiny to find out more. XP
The Sword Impulse is notorious in a sense that it created the scene as shown in the boxart as can be seen around half-way through the series. Pretty epic scene with Shinn destroying all the battleships in rage/emoness with the dual anti-ship beam swords. ^^
Details:
Height: 19.37m
Weight: 78.93t
Armaments:
Impulse - 2x Folding Razor(anti-armor knife), 1x Beam Rifle, 1x Shield
Sword Silhouette - 2x Excalibur(anti-ship beam sword), 2x Flash Edge(beam boomerang)
Further details here.
FYI, I just got it last week and managed to "finish" building it last night. ^^; It kinda blew my wallet away and currently I'm pretty much unable to buy another MG or anything that costs more than 3000 Yen anytime soon(in one go). >.<
Now onto the review.

HG 1/144 Gundam Virtue Review
Series: Gundam 00 Season 1
GN-005 Gundam Virtue
Grade: HG
Scale: 1/144
Price: 1500 Yen
Height: 18.4m
Weight: 66.7t
Armaments:
1x GN Bazooka
2x GN Cannon
2x GN Beam Saber
Pilot: Tieria Erde
Brief Story Plot:
Gundam Virtue is piloted by Tieria Erde. This mobile suit is slow but has high destructive capabilities, especially when the GN Bazooka is charged for "Burst Mode". During the course of the anime, Virtue is used to destroy enemies within groups(mass destruction FTW).
Now, on with the review.

Windows 7 Release Candidate 1
Okay, it has been out since 5th of this month and I'm late in posting about it. Though it does not to any surprise I'd be late since the matter of lack of time and lack of proper motivation to post something more proper. Those who subscribe to Technet most probably be already using Windows 7 RC1.
At any rate, it is official now that Windows 7 has gone to the next stage and comes even closer to being in stores near us or in your next new computer. =)
For those who have a guinea pig computer or an old computer lying about in their basements/storerooms, why don't you give it a whirl? It lasts until 1st March 2010, fully usable Ultimate Edition.
I just got it yesterday by leeching Swin's net bandwidth. 3.XMB/s FTW. Took me around 15 minutes to download it.
Sadly, I don't think I'll give a review on it since there aren't that much differences from the Beta, except maybe more stable and has been updated from the various feedback of the Beta testers. Though there is an in-built function for XP virtualization. I have yet to try it since I don't have any XP or lower programs installed currently. =P
EDIT: However, it is sad to say my computer would crash/hang or just doesn't do the XP virtualization at all, due to this. This is most unfortunate, especially when I do not dare or have the opportunity to try it out on my faster, newer computers for various reasons.
Thus, in a way, Windows 7 seems to have better compatibility. Though this compatibility isn't such an important thing anyways since most programs, especially popular ones should be already supported by it. I mean, how many programs can you not use on Vista as of now?
If you decide to try it out, I hope you'll enjoy it. But, do be aware, do not use it on your primary computer or use it as your primary OS, since we cannot keep the OS.
Oh, if you are still on Beta, you have to clean install RC1. It is quite unfortunate that it is not easily possible to just upgrade it. This is also true for RC to final product later on. =/
PS: Sorry for the lack of updates, not much "interesting" things to post or say. I prefer not to post things that are too lackluster. XP
EDIT: Testing Nuffnang and Google Ads... >_> Please disable any ad-blocking programs/add-ons you are currently using. But only click on the ads if you like the content. If the ads do not appear at all, please do tell me so that I can check the coding, since this is my first time doing this. =) In a way, yes, I do need to earn some extra cash, if possible, especially if it can fund my current hobby. XP
