Part 1: Box, Box Open, Runners & Building Process
Part 2: Height Comparisons, Articulation, Gimmicks, Action & Conclusion
Part 3: Additional Review - MG VS NG, Backpack Adapter (First Batch Item)
Okay, since I just finished building the Blue Frame yesterday until the big arse sword, I'll post up part 1 now which consists of shots of the runners and building process. I haven't built the action base for the sword yet but I'll put that in this part later on. I also haven't exploited the extra backpack adapters yet but I think I'll dedicate part 3 for that.
I don't really know the Gundam SEED VS Astray side-story so I can't say much about this MS story-wise. At any rate, its one of the many variations(and latest) of the Blue Frame which is piloted by Gai Murakamo of Serpent Tail.
MBF-P03R Gundam Astray Blue Frame Second Revise
Pilot: Gai Murakamo
Guild: Serpent Tail
Height: 18.32m
Weight: 62.70t
Armaments: Tactical Arms II, Armor Schneider(4?)
Part 1: Box

Part 2: Box Open!

Part 3: Runners!

We also get new polycaps, yay!
Part 4: Building Process
Part 4.1: Torso

Part 4.2: Head
Part 4.3: Arms

*I just noticed that I put th elbow armor upside down! Silly me. Luckily I found out while applying the clear stickers. XP Its fixed now but I won't be able to change these photo though.*
Part 4.4: Legs

Nothing much to say for the feet except that Bandai make sure it can bend similar to that of MG Exia or HG 00. It has no movable toes though.

Part 4.5: Waist

Part 4.6: Tactical Arms II

Part X: Early Shots

Okay, that' all for now. I'll be adding shots of the action base construction by tomorrow and part 2 after I apply the clear stickers(there are quite a lot of stickers!). =D

nice review! and after just quickly browsed the pictures i did not realize that the stickers are not there. wow! where did you get this model in kuching and how much did you get a good price for it?
Well, I got it from Momotoys @ The Spring 2nd Floor as usual a while ago. Not so sure if they still have it in stock though otherwise you can get it for a little above RM200(not cheap ^^;).
waa i can buy a few hgs with that haha and i thought so because the last time i went momotoysing i saw the frame was on the floor and priced as such. oh my i myself have yet to buy an MG (i am waitng for my pay rise very soon) hahaha anyway happy Gundaming your blue frame bro=)
Fwah you are fast!! I think it is equally as detail as the PG counter part :D Hee will be waiting for part 2! Action pics!!
went to momotoys just now. did not find blue frame anymore... however i found HGUC 100th release the RX 0 Unicorn gundam destroy mode. i cant resist of not buying it so i bought it.. go there buy it joseph is waiting hahaha
@chubbybots: Not really that fast IMO since I only build and panel line(plus white paint on the fingers). >.>
@fairuzaliayen: Oh, the HGUC Unicorn came in already? Nice. Hopefully I can get it when I have time to go there next week. ^^ I think I can only buy Destroy Mode at most currently. >.>;
@fairuzaliayen: how much was the unicorn/destroy-nicorn?
the price as stated on the box for HGUC
1. unicorn normal mode=RM68
2. unicorn destroy mode=RM81
i bought from Spring @ momotoys. please bargain when you buy because i bargained it and got a lower price for myself hehe
Do you think that bandai have HG for 2nd frame? I only have HG normal red frame and HG blue frame only man
@mangyver5223; Unfortunately, I don't think so. Then again, who knows what Bandai may have in store for the HG SEED line in the future, if they still want to continue it that is.
a noob question...
cuz i cant understand the notes in the instruction
how to put those transparent stickers??
thanks in advance
BTW i bought this one cuz of the sword hehe
The clear stickers work like normal stickers do. They are a bit harder to take out since, I think, they are slightly thinner than regular stickers. A sharp knife can help in pulling these stickers out but do be careful. ^^
