Somewhat want to make a "busy" header highlighting my list of "active hobbies" currently since I'll be putting them up on the blog. Well, I did call this blog "Random Stuff from the East" so by any means, it isn't limited to just Gunpla - for those who may think I'm suddenly taking a sudden shift in my priorities. ^^;

Updated the review buttons but review linkage (for the 2 parters especially needs to be done when I'm less lazy later). =P

There won't be much postings on this blog or the secondary blog for a while*. (I'll try to do a few monthly posts at the very least and comment on my fellow bloggers' posts from time to time.) Okay, time for another update... but not really an update for the blog.
For a while now, I've been chatting with some of the bloggers from my blogroll in this chat room. It is mostly active during the night time (M'sian/S'pore time, GMT +8). So, if any of you readers want to be poisoned into buying stuff from the dark side, have some crazy random chatting fun or whatever, come here!
This room is created by our dear friend Tsukinari who is also a M'sian blogger. If you haven't visited his blog, why don't you go there now? Be careful of the current WISP on the MG GN-X. XD
Besides that, if you have been paying attention lately, there was some crazy activity going on at my alternate blog on Wordpress. Do pay a visit and comment (if you can) when you see the feed on the top left gets updated once in a while. Currrently, the WIP for my Gale Strike Custom is there. Do read it up for some crazy random doings. >D

Since I don't really feel like building currently, I decided to continue upgrading up my blog, even if the update is quite minor. Anyways, I edited the Gunpla Reviews page with pictures now (small 180x64 banners links to reviews)! The pictures aren't in high quality as I wanted them to be extremely fast loading for anyone who visits my blog. Adding to that is when I put more reviews in the future. Who knows how many pictures will be in there after a while?

As I said in the previous post, I might change the layout of the blog... and behold, I actually did!
After a quick search using Google to find some sites that hosts Blogger templates, I found one that looks usable from this site. The template I used was... this. It doesn't look so similar anymore after a few tweaks in the code. ^^
I'm not pro at HTML coding but knowledge I've obtained from a tutorial on how to increase the number of columns helped me to understand some of the stuff needed for quick and simple edits.
Anyways, with bit of rearranging and simple changes... what do you think of the new layout this time? Its not entirely complete yet, but I'm good with it for now. =)
It has a few drawbacks on my side though like not being able to have some of the usual shortcuts anymore for some reason. Must be due to the fact that this is an external template... need to see what I can do about that though...
EDIT: Oh, I worked out the kinks. Now everything is really good to go! ^_^
I promised before but almost didn't keep it. Luckily, I remembered and felt like it.
What promise you ask? Well, it can be considered a minor one but I promised that I upload the manual scans of the TT Hongli HG manuals of Kyrios, Throne Eins and Dynames.

How's everyone doing today? Enjoying the "Black Friday"? Well, I'm kinda am as there's no class today and I got the time to do whatever again. ^_^
Lately, I've gone back to the "gaming mood" and have to go through Summer Semester at Swinburne so I'll probably update less on the blog on Gunpla for a while... Fret not, I'm currently building the MG Astray Blue Frame, though only the head and torso is completed thus far. Then again, I only started last night. ^^;
At any rate, I did a quick review on the HG 1/144 GN Archer to test out a new background and lighting(natural sunlight) over at my Wordpress blog. My room doesn't have the best exposure to sunlight, but I like to know what you all think about it as I might do my future reviews with this setting. The lighting also can be from my fluorescent light as well. =)
Oh yeah, is anyone else going to the PC Fair today or for the weekends? Hopefully there will be something worthwhile when I go there....

I just removed the "News Reel", "Gunpla Grades" and "Gunpla Scales" as I find them seeming useless as I state the scale within the title of the reviews and, normally, do height comparisons.
If there are anything else you, the readers, find useless in the sidebar section, please leave a comment so that I can do some cleaning up. Otherwise, I'll leave it as it is. If you want me to tweak some of the sidebar contents, except the non-customizable ones, please tell me also.

My semester break just ended last week and yesterday was the first day back to Swinburne. With that said, it is undeniable that I won't have as much time to spend online or with this blog for quite some time. Updates will still come in due time but around two-three per week.
As of today, 4th August 2009, this blog has received 2000 hits since 9th March 2009!
Well, that's there is to say for this post since I already said most of the need to say stuff in the previous but also today post. =P
In celebration of 2000 Hits, I'll try to code the blog up a bit. Now, to play with the XML coding... =P
Oh yes, if you think my very simple template edits are a bit "broken", please give me some advice on how to improve whatever part you deem "bad coding". I don't have enough experience in coding work. =P
Looks like my line is back to normal now. Seems like the root cause was my phone cable was damaged due to moister. Well, I don't really feel that's the main caused since the line was pretty much better since the beginning of this week BEFORE the said problem was fixed. At any rate, at least my DC problems has faded away, hopefully. Yay! Stable connection FTW? We also got a new red phone and red phone cable for it! Woah, redness!
Also, today, I finally obtained it, the very last box... oh yes, the HG 0 Gundam!
Just couldn't resist pairing up the HG 0 Gundam boxart with the HG Gundam Exia R2 boxart. ^^
At any rate, I won't be building it today or maybe not even tomorrow since my arms are aching due to the extra force needed to build the TT hongli HG Dynames earlier this morning which I just finished building. The review will be up for that soon after I have the mood to photoshoot it. =P For those curious, the Dynames is quite stiff but most of the parts don't seem to fit in completely though can be put together.

GAH! WTF?! I just wanted to post up my HG Exia R2 review last night! But NO~! Streamyx started having frequent disconnections, AGAIN! GRAAAHH! Frustrating. Right now, I can't really do much of anything, so sorry for those who want some more stuff posted up. ^^;
For Kevin who ask for more TT Hongli reviews - I have recently built a HG Kyrios which I am going to review soon. ^^ I'm pretty happy with this one as it is quite sturdy. More on that once Streamyx revert back to "normal". =/
At any rate, if Streamyx don't revert back to normal by this Friday, sorry to say, there won't be any updates until Monday night next week at best since I'm going to KL for Daicon located at MMU Cyberjaya. If you're going there also, you might meet me especially near the Litt Tak area of the Daicon getting me a free FG Gunpla... yeah, FG, that's what I heard they are giving out. But, ah well, free Gunpla! C'mon, at least give some HGs! D=
Also, a little look at the current insane amount of Exias I have with me thus far which will grow even bigger soon... hehe.
I haven't finished the SD though, just the torso and head. XPWell, if anyone visits tonight/today, you'll see that I have changed the banner once again. ^^
It's simple and hopefully looks better than the previous one. =3

Unfortunately, my Internet connection is still horrible. D= I can barely get on for more than 5 minutes now. Being on right now to do this small update is already quite difficult.
After a bit of thinking since the revitalization of the blog, I finally decided to change the domain name to something much more easier to type and remember as well as less crappy. =3
